It’s everything that Twilight lacks. *coughs* :) I was skeptical at first, but it won me over before the end of the first episode.

So I finally downloaded pictures from the Nikon. Meaning I’ve got a ton of blog updating to do…

This summer I started sewing and crocheting. Andy’s cousin Veronica taught me the crocheting. I’ll throw a picture of the snazzy scarf up when it’s finished. Veronica will be proud. Here’s a shirt that I altered from an XXL down to fit me. I tapered it to have a custom fit and be a bit more of a tunic with a punk-esque neckline.

Saw a rainbow….

Went on a roadtrip with Andy to visit his grandparent’s.

Emma Loggins, founder and editor of FanBolt.com, said that even if a geek is getting air time on a teen drama, you probably won’t even realize he’s the dork.

“By no means do they fit the mold of previous nerds from shows like ‘Saved by the Bell,’ ” she said. “In today’s television, even the nerds are cooler and defined by their enjoyment of comic books instead of their test scores. Networks are selling an image, and thus have to redefine social stereotypes in order to create an ideal look for their shows.”

As many of you know the fashion designer I work with, Ellie Mae, was recently featured in AJC. Just came across it online here.It was a huge full page spread in the August 31st issue featuring multiple photos shot at the Georgia Terrance Hotel.

I just interviewed Simon Cowell.

I love my job.

It was a couple nights short of a full moon, but I still got some great shots being so far away from the city. The satellite and meteor are easily spottable. This was shot at 800 ISO for a 1 minute exposure.

I’ve been up in Quincy, Illinois for the last week with Andy visiting his grandparents farm.  I’ll upload more pictures later, but this one is the sunset over their farm from their house up on the bluff. The water you see is from the flood that occurred earlier this summer. It was horrible seeing all the damage that had been done…

When life gets crazy and your to-do list seems never ending, music is the only thing that keeps making sense. It has an amazing ability to transport you, whether you want it to or not. It never fails… every time I hear this one song by Sigur Ros, I’m always a million miles away from where ever I am. It seems like the very second I close my eyes and let the song flood over me I’m suddenly out west driving through the desert with the top down. It’s a cloudless night with a new moon. And for those 4 minutes and 29 seconds, life is absolutely, undeniably perfect.

So it’s 3:08 am and I can’t sleep. I was going through the usual routine of visiting all my graphic design and motion graphic blogs for cool eye candy when I come across the sweetest and most adorable thing ever.

I think it holds some great ideas for Sara. I vote for the breathtaking pyrotechnic display. I mean, that’s totally how I’ll do my invitations. Fridge mags are sooo yesterday. Permanent burn marks on your living room wall… now that’s what I’m talking about. :)

So after watching this I checked out their site and found a video that Jeffrey made for Natasha. Sweetest thing ever!
