I figured posting this here was the quickest way of circulating this to all of you! :) It’s pretty rad.
It’s a year old… and if you’ve seen this before and not sent it to me … then thanks. Thanks a lot.

after party.
The Mizzae Spring Show was definitely a hit. I’ll post pictures of the actual show soon as soon as they surface online. I didn’t even think about taking any during it since I only had my little camera and the lighting would have made decent pics with that camera impossible.
Here’s some from the after party events though:
apparently there are many more of me now.
So I have known that my names Emily and Emma have been popular for quite sometime. What I didn’t know was to the extent that they were popular. When I was born in ‘83, neither Emily nor Emma were in the top 100 names. My name was pretty unique at the time. In fact the top names were the ones that you had 4 of in every class you had from elementary through high school:
Jennifer
Jessica
Amanda
Ashley
Sarah
But what is most disturbing is the popularity of my name since the year 1993. The http://www.ssa.gov just released 2008’s most popular names which brought my attention to this series of uncreative parental choices.

Does anyone else notice that the only names that gave mine competition were that of characters names from Grey’s Anatomy?
I’m not happy with the masses naming their kids Emily and Emma. I quite enjoyed the fact that I never met others with my name.
Argh.
early birthday.
I know you guys are already thinking about my birthday and trying to figure out what to get me right? Well. Let help you.
Aren’t they awesome?! I’m anti-Dreamweaver so I’m not interested in that. But I’m all about the Photoshop and In Design love. Those are my programs. Flash…. I’m ‘growing’ to love.
Hand-made plush objects created in the images of the programs I use every day… It’s like ThinkGeek toys for designers. Awesomeness.
brothers bloom.
You know you loved Brick and if you didn’t then I truly doubt your taste in movies. Director Rian Johnson who was responsible for directing and writing Brick has a new film coming out next month called Brothers Bloom which I have been looking forward to since the night I saw Brick. Below is the opening sequence from the movie which contains an adorable crippled kitten. I mean I can’t not post that. Below that is the actual trailer. Behold magic my dear readers. Magic.
