I have a press conference phone call with Masi Oka and Tim Kring on Thursday. For those of you who don’t know who that it is, Masi plays Hiro on Heroes and Tim Kring is the creator of Heroes. I’m also in talks to do one with Hayden next week. I would GREATLY appreciate it, if you all let me know any questions that you can think of for these interviews. Not sure how many questions I will get to ask, but I need to come up with some really good ones!
So Andy wants me to go clothes shopping with him at some point. I have some things in mind. And with a little help from photoshop, we can see my visions come to life. :)
So tonight has ended up being Emma movie recommendation night. I’ve made Jenny watch like 20 trailers including: Across The Universe, 10,000 BC, Elizabeth: The Golden Era, Dedication, Beowulf, and The Darjeeling Limited just to name a few.
I screamed when I saw this trailer added. Wes Anderson is pretty much a film god in my book. The Royal Tenenbaums… Life Aquatic… Rushmore. I mean the man is just pure-cinematic genius. So needless to say, this is a must see. I absolutely love his films. :)

The trailer has finally surfaced. I had no idea they were doing this with cgi…. I’m honestly kinda disappointed. When I first heard they were doing the screenplay for this I got extremely excited, but the fact that this isn’t done with real people takes away from the dramatic element in my opinion. Although, I have to mention that the graphics are absolutely stunning, at first I thought it was actually real people. Click here for the trailer
He arrived Friday afternoon. I was in the room during the birth, which was a rather interesting event… Birth is just not at all like I thought it would be to say the least, but that’s another story. :) I went back up to the hospital today to visit with Andy and Jenny, none of us have really had experience with newborns, so we, and by we I mean mostly I, asked a lot of questions while Andy inspected the baby’s head in a seemingly scientific manner. Jenny even held him too. :) It was a rather fun outing. My favorite moments were when I was holding him and he smiled at me, and then when Andy was holding him, Joshua then made a couple noises and one of “those” faces, and then Andy proceeded to hand the baby back to Amanda’s mom while saying “And I think we’re done here.” :)
Here’s a couple pics.
But quite possibly the most entertaining to watch…. despite the fact it’s painful. I should note that this is abc news. It’s important to remember that when watching, because it makes it all that more awesome when Ms. Miller says log on to nbc.com for more info…. I especially love the producer screaming in the background after she says it. hehe. ahh… good stuff.
Alright, so keep in mind when listening to this, that I had to include an insane amount of elements in this project to show I knew how to use all the areas of the program. So it may not sound perfect, but it’s not too shabby either.
Hence why I call it the “Not Too Shabby” mix.
I wrote part of this from scratch as we had to write sheet music for Acid Pro to produce a midi file that we could then change anyway we wanted to.
Comments welcome. :) Keep in mind it’s my first venture in to the world of audio production.
