Can life get any better? This is seriously the best week ever. New pr agency yesterday, best Valentines Day EVER, and now today, I get a phone call from the Teen Hollywood Network. For those of you who don’t know, they’re among the biggest of big dogs in the online entertainment field. They want to include me in pitches to Verzion, Coke, the major networks (movie, music, tv), and basically any big brand you can think of that markets to the 13-18 and the 18-24 demographic. Right now, with the buy of ads they want to take, they’ll be increasing my income by 4-5 times per month. I’m crossing my fingers that this will all work out, I’ve got to forward the contract to my lawyer to make completely sure, but it looks like the powers that be are smiling down on me.

I have to go running screaming through my apartment now. :)

Per the requests last night… here is the video and some additional images of our Sims’ home burning down. :) I love the video of Nic jumping up while on fire. :) Don’t ask what happened to the audio… I don’t think the game lets me record the audio as well if I do larger captures like this. It’s AVI format which is all I can do write now till I get my video editing software installed.

So, I’ve discovered via Zach Braff’s blog, that he too, plays the sims. So no one can say anything now. :)

The Proof

I’ve signed on to projects with another pr firm which I’m totally stoked about. Once FanBolt gets relaunched I’m going to be COMPLETELY set with any kind of content my heart desires. It’s going to make running the site a billion times easier. I’m totally stoked about the new firm though, they deal more so with theater release promotions as apposed to dvd or music promotions, so it’ll give me a little bit more experience in that area. And… they also handle promotions for Urban Outfitters and GAP, so that will hopefully help with the fashion stuff I will be starting soon.

With that being said, I’m now working on promotions for a new film entitled “In The Land Of Women” starring Adam Brody and Meg Ryan. And the best news… I may be attending the LA premiere in April. It’s about time I meet Mr. Brody. :) Keep your fingers crossed for me!

My advanced screener of “The Host” arrived today. So those of you who promised to view it with me best keep that promise. :) I have to have the review up by the end of this month for the March 9th theater release. For those of you wondering about the film, you can check out the trailer here.

Their name is Scissor Sisters, and I love them. :) They’re more of European band I believe, but they’ve been around for awhile.

I stumbled across them a couple weeks ago while browsing some art blogs, and I can’t stop listening. There’s this song they do called “Intermission” that has this weird Moulin Rouge/Dresden Dolls/cabaret type sound, I’ve played it 17 times so far today… :) No video for that song, so you guys get “I Don’t Feel Like Dancin”. This video rocks… it’s like we’re in the 80’s all over again. :)

Just so you all know.. sims 2 runs incredible on Edie. :) In honor of the people I spend my time with every week, I’ve made us into one big happy family on the sims. Here’s the end results. Can you guess who is who? :)

Amusing enough about 3 minutes after we all entered the house the whole place caught on fire and burned down…. here were the reactions… Nic’s was the best by far. Notice Andy and Sara chattin it up and not caring in the bathroom.

Ah, she’s amazing… the speed… the working usb drives… the working cdrom… the pretty graphics… wowie. :) I’m still in awe. I still feel weird using something that’s all pimped out after being on the last system for so long. Anywho, my new computer has been all set up courtesy of my way awesome boyfriend Andy. Here’s a screencap so you all can admire the stats. :)

And for those of you wondering why her name is Edie… She’s named after Edie Sedgwick. She’s just as beautiful and just as fast as Edie’s down spiral into the world of drugs.
