Still more to come….
me and misha collins… kind of.
I keep finding videos from Comic Con that I’m in. Sometimes it’s just my elbow – like when Jimmy Fallon was interviewing my man – Josh Holloway. But here – you can see me waiting patiently on Misha to finish up and come chat with me. You can also see a not so patient Nic looking bored out of his mind and peering out of the curtain looking for a chance to escape. Ah. Memories. :-)
emma & the supernatural.
So as basically all of you know – I attended Comic Con ‘09 in San Diego last week. I interviewed the cast and creators of Twilight, Burn Notice, Dollhouse, 24, Bones, Chuck, Lost, Fringe, Vampire Diaries, Astro Boy, Paper Hearts, and …. Supernatural. My personal favorite. :-) Here’s a few select images from me interviewing Eric Kripe, Misha Collins, Sera Gamble, and Jim Beaver…
Question: Eric, how come you only get positive emails from the Christian fundamentalists while I get emails about how all the writers on the show are going to hell for their portrayal of God and the angels?
JK. Though when I asked that question it wasn’t worded much differently ;-)
Lots more to come….
lady gaga = awesomeness.
So Nic and I went to see Lady GaGa last night, and we made it just in time to pick up our VIP passes which allowed us to watch the whole show backstage. We got to see the wardrobe changes, the before show rituals, and didn’t have to worry about crowds. It was a great night. She’s a great performer and definitely knew how to work the crowd. No lip synching either, and for that reason it was like watching Britney but better.
Here’s a photo Nic took during the last encore:
And I pulled a few cool clips from YouTube….
She did a new song which I absolutely loved called “Future Love”:
And then here’s Poker Face from last night:
quoted.
I was quoted in The Christian Science Monitor on 1.2.09:
A handful of new arrivals have generated anticipatory “buzz,” says Emma Loggins, founder and editor of fanbolt.com, an Atlanta-based website for and by fans. She points to such “hot tickets” as Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” (Fox), a thriller about a shadowy, mind-control agency starring Eliza Dushku, and “Nurse Jackie,” Showtime’s newest series starring Edie Falco.
the shirts.
These are the shirts that you’ve all heard me freaking out over for the last 2 weeks, between the design changes and the nightmare that was FedEx with the shipping…. This is the shirt that Rodney Atkins may be wearing tonight during his performance at the CMA’s. Ellie told me what he wanted, and I designed it for an option tonight and for him to wear on tour. Supposedly he loves it. If he does wear one of these tonight, it will be an amazing moment. :) But I’m not hold my breath. :)
*Update* So he didn’t wear the shirt. Which sucks, but hopefully when his tour starts up I’ll be able to round up some images of him wearing it then. :)
write up.
The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur did a write up me. It’s a pretty cool blog featuring different entrepreneurs and information about their start-ups. The toilet paper thing is their gimmick which is kind of cute. They wanted me to be creative with the image, incorporate toilet paper, and it couldn’t be in the office. I threw Roxy in for the “awe” factor. :)
